August 19, 2024: In this episode, Mayor Crawford and Village Manager Ron Sena discuss the recent water bill increase for Village residents and explain why. Public Works Director Adam Sanchez provides an update on the repair and reopening of the McDaniels Bridge and the progress of other bridge and road repairs around the village. Zeke Greer from White Sands Construction, joined by Deputy Manager Michael Martinez, shared exciting news about the 603 Mechem project, where two homes were placed on the property last week.
Parks & Rec Director Matthew Baird and Assistant Director David "TBone" Tetreault preview several upcoming events, including the Chuckwagon Cookout & Drone Show event this weekend at Wingfield Park and the Run, White, and Blue 5K Fun Run over Labor Day weekend. They also discuss the ongoing developments at School House Park and the installation of restrooms at various locations around the Village.
Kidie Thornton from the Humane Society of Lincoln County highlights this weekend's microchip event and addresses the shelter's current overpopulation of dogs and puppies.
