June 3, 2024: In this episode, several key community updates were discussed. The E911 readdressing project targets duplicate road names and addresses. The 603 Mechem project is progressing with site improvements. Updates on the Blue 2 Fire included information on personnel, air support, and changes to evacuation orders. The Innsbrook water project is 70% complete. Renovations at the Community Center and the growing RSVP volunteer program were also covered. Parks & Recreation reported on new playground construction and recent sports tournaments. Historical insights on local Hot Shot crews were shared. The new free Summer Concert series, "Under a Mountain Sky," was also announced for Wingfield Park. Police activity highlighted the unexpectedly large turnout at the Lincoln Forrest Renaissance Faire, surpassing the motorcycle rally.
