June 22, 2024: In this special episode, Mayor Crawford and Police Chief Chavez answer questions regarding the upcoming lifting of evacuation orders on Monday, June 24, 2024. Starting at 8:00 AM, the Village of Ruidoso, in collaboration with the Mayor, Village Council, and County, will begin the re-entry process for local, full-time residents. Second homeowners and tourists are asked to wait. Returning residents should prepare for potential gas, electricity, and water outages and bring a week's worth of groceries and water.
