April 3, 2023: Topics discussed this week included a Wingfield House update and upcoming events at the Convention Center, Ruidoso Public Library, and the annual Bunny Walk/Run and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Cedar Creek, lifeguard certifications, and the Ruidoso Great American Cleanup 2023 at Wingfield Park on April 16. Also discussed were the A/C upgrade at the library and the resurfacing of the tennis and pickleball courts. Police Chief Lawrence Chavez discussed the Citizens’ Police Academy classes and problems with people trespassing on private properties.
