July 17, 2023: Show topics this week included the recent return to Level 1 Fire Restrictions and preventative measures for Ruidoso homeowners to keep their properties fire-safe and compliant with the fuel-management ordinance standards. Also discussed were areas of concern of flooding during heavy rain, the proper disposal of furniture and construction debris, and summer tourism, parks and recreation, and library events. Lastly, Deputy Police Chief Steve Minner discussed RPD activities and the death of Alamogordo Police Officer Anthony Ferguson, who was killed in the line of duty this weekend.
