October 7, 2022: Guest Shannon Dictson from the Lincoln County Community Health Council joined the show to discuss the October 15, 2022, 10th Annual Health and Wellness Fair at Inn of the Mountain Gods, a free, family-friendly day of health and wellness. Police Chief Chavez reported on the investigation status of a Ruidoso woman’s abduction and the primitive human skull that was found on a Ruidoso construction site as well as details on the new training simulator and Citizens Police Academy. 

September 23, 2022: Guests Johnny, Helen, Terri, and Judy Barajas joined the show this week to discuss how the Village of Ruidoso has changed since the 1940s. Also announced that Helen was selected as the Grand Marshal of the 2022 Aspenfest Parade.

Police Chief Chavez reported on the investigation status of a Ruidoso woman’s abduction and the primitive human skull that was found on a Ruidoso construction site. Construction updates were provided on several ongoing projects and Jamie and Case from Downshift Brewing joined the show to discuss their September 24, 2022, Midtown Oktoberfest event including bands, contests, and food/beer offerings.

August 8, 2022: Show topics this week included infrastructure updates on the Paradise Canyon paving project and proposed plans for a disc golf course in the Eagle Creek area. Upcoming events discussed included the August 13-14, 2022, First Annual Sierra Blanca Pow Wow at the Ruidoso Convention Center and Downshift Brewing Company’s Midtown Oktoberfest on September 24, 2022, featuring stein-hoisting contests, German food, live music, and more. Local Musician/Promotor, Jhett Black joined the show to promote a September singer-songwriter night at Sacred Grounds, and Ruidoso Police Chief Chavez was in the studio with back-to-school traffic safety tips and parade safety precautions for the annual Aspen Fest parade and Festival on October 1-2, 2022.

July 18, 2022: Show topics this week included infrastructure updates, including status reports on the Wingfield House, upper Sudderth Dr sidewalk project, bridges, and more. Guest Leroy Cockrell joined the show to discuss new OHV trails in the Hale Lake area. Parks and Recreation director Rodney Griego shared information about 2022 Ride Ruidoso Week, a motorcycle benefit event on September 12 -18, 2022, at Wingfield Park, and a new grant application for the White Mountain Recreation Complex Ruidoso Police Chief Chavez was in the studio to discuss recent police activity.

June 27, 2022: Show topics this week included Fourth of July weekend activities and events. the June 29 Special Meeting Agenda including the NMSA enhanced 911 requirements, and the Mechem Drive Workforce Housing Project. Infrastructure updates included the Gavilan Canyon Road construction and the 2022 Special Session Senate Bill 1 Appropriations for Ruidoso Midtown improvements. Fire Chief Kasuboski was in the studio to introduce the new Assistant Fire Chief Ross Coleman, the need for additional firefighters, and the return to Level 1 fire restrictions. Ruidoso Police Chief Chavez joined the show to discuss recent police activity, the White Mountain Drive speed study results, and an increase in catalytic convertors and gasoline theft.

June 20, 2022: Show topics this week included the successful first annual Party In The Pines events. village monsoon preparations, especially regarding the McBride Fire burn scar area, Sudderth Drive address changes due to NMSA enhanced 911 requirements, and the NMML City Management Association Conference being held this week at the Ruidoso Convention Center. Infrastructure updates included the Gavilan Canyon Road construction and schedule adjustments due to rain. Listener Andre Hernandez called in to discuss the need for food security and steps people can take to be prepared if and when the need arises. Also discussed were the 4th of July Weekend events including a patriotic-themed Drone Light Show and a reminder that fireworks are prohibited.

April 22, 2022: Guest Shirley Donaldson, joins the Chamber Chat hosts to discuss her clogging classes offered at the Community Center including beginners and advanced classes. She explained what clogging is and what types of music you can clog to. Also discussed were the Level II Fire Protections issued by the Village and upcoming community events including the May 5-6 Cinco De Mayo Celebration at the Ruidoso Convention Center.

April 8, 2022: Chamber Chat hosts Deborah Douds and Shawon Darden discuss upcoming Ruidoso events.

December 31, 2021: Mary Maxon, Michael and Delana Clements of the Old Dowlin Mill joined the show this week to discuss Old Mill repair progress including the just-completed roof and the need for additional funds, through donations, to complete the reconstruction project. Also discussed were New Year’s Eve and upcoming holiday events.

December 30, 2021: Sydnee and Romi discussed the great success of the Ice Rink at Wingfield Park including expanding the hours of operation and announcing Locals Day on January 3 with free admission and skate rentals. Also discussed were the upcoming Youth Disc Golf and Smart Start Basketball program.

December 10, 2021: Victor Montes of Lincoln County Toys for Tots joins the show this week to discuss their program and when and where they will be sorting the donations to be delivered in addition to last weekend's Parade of Lights winners for Best Floats and Vehicles. Also discussed were upcoming village events including the community Coat Drive, the Flying J Ranch Christmas Program, and the upcoming Vines in the Pines event to be held on Feb. 19, 20, 2022 at the Ruidoso Convention Center.

December 6, 2021: Parks and Recreation Director Rodney Griego joined the show this week to discuss Christmas events as well as the possibility of adding an ice skating rink to Wingfield Park for the winter season. Community Development Director Samantha Mendez was in the studio to discuss the Workforce Housing Mesa Apartment site plan to be presented during the December 7 workshop meeting. Police Chief Chavez also joined the show to introduce Officer Whitt who graduated from the Police Academy in Albuquerque. Also discussed were changes to the Festival of Lights traffic route.

November 29, 2021: Topics discussed this week were the upcoming Ruidoso Warriors football State Championship game, the Dec. 4 Festival of Lights Parade and After Party, the Dec. 2, Christmas in the Park, and the Dec. 4 - Jan. 14, Trail of Lights at Wingfield Park. Tim Roberts joined the show to talk about the history of gold mining in Lincoln County as well as future plans for exhibits at the Wingfield House. Police Chief Chavez was in to discuss recent police activity including assisting the Ruidoso Downs in a chase of a subject who struck an officer during a traffic stop.

November 18, 2021: Elda Herrera of Sabor Dessert Shop and Tracey Hernandez with A Christmas Affair join the show this week to the holiday event to be held at the Ruidoso Convention Center December 3 - 5, 2021. A Christmas Affair will have vendors with items for the Christmas season. Also discussed was the upcoming Turkey Trot, 5k run/walk on Saturday, Nov 27 as well as other upcoming events.

November 11, 2021: Learn about upcoming youth sports in the area as well as the upcoming Cops for Kids Turkey Shoot-Out Benefit Basketball Tournament. Also discussed was the upcoming 7th annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and events scheduled for the Christmas season.
