Sue Hutchinson of Hope Harbor NM and Chef Brendan spoke about the March 4 An Afternoon of Hope fundraiser event featuring a Battle of the Chefs event at the Ruidoso Convention Center, and Police Chief Lawrence Chavez discussed RPD activity and the Cops for Kids organization.

They also discussed what services the Adaptive Sports program offers for both winter and summer sports. Elizabeth Potter from Food 4 Kids and Kay Simms from Ruidoso Winter Park were in the studio to talk about their Sunday, February 12, fundraiser event, Food 4 Kids Day At Ruidoso Winter Park.

February 6, 2023: Conversation this week centered around the Lincoln County Day event in Santa Fe hosted by the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Public Employees Returning to Work Program to address temporary staffing shortages, and the Ride Ruidoso Spring Thunder concert on May 20, 2023, with headliner band Molly Hatchet at Wingfield Park. Also discussed were the 2023 Ruidoso Adventure Tours. Pastor John Duncan was in the studio to talk about the Feb. 10-11 XO Marriage Conference, Lieutenant Urban spoke about a Feb. 4-5 wrestling event at the Ruidoso Convention Center, and Sydnee and Scott of Oso Productions discussed their upcoming Pirates of Penzance musical at Ruidoso High School Performing Arts Center. Eddie Crane with Healing America's Heroes promoted their Feb. 11 Dinner and Silent Auction fundraiser at Cree Meadows and Police Chief Lawrence Chavez discussed RPD assistance with an officer-involved shooting in Alamogordo.

September 12, 2022: Mayor Crawford and Village Officials expressed 9/11 remembrances. Police Chief Chavez reported on the primitive human skull that was found on a Ruidoso construction site. The new Village Clerk Jini Turri joined the show along with Carson Stetheimer, a student member of the Ruidoso Gymnastics Association to promote their 2022 Online Auction fundraiser. Members of the Capitan Tigers Cheerleaders squad were also in the studio to announce their participation in the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving parade in New York City and to receive a donation from the Ruidoso Jockey Club to help fund their travel.

Chamber Chat hosts shared May events including the May 5 - 6 Cinco De Mayo Celebration at the Convention Center and Ruidoso Downs Race Track events over the Kentucky Derby weekend.
