Also discussed was how Thrive helps area non-profits and how people can get involved with a simple donation pledge through participating area employers.

February 13, 2023: This week's episode centered around temporary measures for the manholes on Mechem Drive, Wingfield House updates, and upcoming events. Able and Kris from the Humane Society of Lincoln County joined the show to discuss the Village's new microchip ordinance to help lost pets and the importance of vaccinations. Sue Hutchinson of Hope Harbor NM and Chef Brendan spoke about the March 4 An Afternoon of Hope fundraiser event featuring a Battle of the Chefs event at the Ruidoso Convention Center, and Police Chief Lawrence Chavez discussed RPD activity and the Cops for Kids organization.

February 10, 2023: Taryn Benavidez of Lincoln County Home Builders Association joined the show this week to discuss community programs and the upcoming golf scramble event for scholarship funds. They also discussed what services the Adaptive Sports program offers for both winter and summer sports. Elizabeth Potter from Food 4 Kids and Kay Simms from Ruidoso Winter Park were in the studio to talk about their Sunday, February 12, fundraiser event, Food 4 Kids Day At Ruidoso Winter Park.

January 30, 2023: Topics of discussion in today’s episode included tomorrow’s Lincoln County Day in Santa Fe - sponsored by the Ruidoso Vallery Chamber of Commerce, the progress of capital projects, including the Wingfield House and Horton Complex, and the Village’s Strategic Planning process. Rick Hutchison and Shippen Salas with Hope Harbor New Mexico joined the show to discuss their An Afternoon of Hope fundraiser on March 4, 2023, at the Ruidoso Convention Center and future plans for the organization. Police Chief Lawrence Chavez discussed the next Citizen's Police Academy and the beating of Tyre Nichols. 

May 6, 2022: NM Workforce Connection guests Tatiana Magana (Youth Career Coach) and Rochelle Lentschke (Apprenticeship Coordinator) joined the show this week to discuss career exploration, the May 10, 11, and 17, 2022, Inn of the Mountain Gods Career Fairs, and Youth Conference being held in Roswell in June. Chamber Chat hosts shared May events including the May 5 - 6 Cinco De Mayo Celebration at the Convention Center and Ruidoso Downs Race Track events over the Kentucky Derby weekend.

April 29, 2022: Guest Lorna Fike, Executive Director of Hope Harbor Transitional Home joined the show this week to discuss the Afternoon of Hope fundraiser event at ENMU on April 30, 2022, from 2 pm to 4 pm. Also discussed is the way Hope Harbor will be able to help women with abused children to give them the help and tools they need for a new life.

April 4, 2022: Topics discussed this week included the April 1 start of NM recreational adult-use cannabis with Arnold Duke from Elevation 6420 in the studio. Ruidoso Parks and Recreation Director Rodney Griego and Lizza Miller joined the show with a status update about the Moon Mountain feasibility study. Shirley Donaldson shared information about the May 2022 beginners’ clogging class at the Ruidoso Community Center. Sue Hutchinson and Chef Brendan Gochenour discussed the Hope Harbor April 30 fundraiser, ‘Afternoon of Hope’ at ENMU. Also joining the show this week were Eddie Gutierrez and Jamey Rupley of Downshift Brewing Company at the Hidden Tap and Police Chief Lawrence Chavis to discuss the Citizens’ Police Academy and the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 30, a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs.

March 18, 2022: Kiya Boss of the Ruidoso Valley Greeters, a non-profit organization formed for promoting business development, joined the show this week to discuss the 2022 return of the annual Christmas Jubilee (Nov. 11 - 13, 2022) and the ways local merchants can participate. Also discussed is the history of the Greeters and how to get involved. 

March 11, 2022: Laurie Benavides and Becky Brooks joined the show this week to discuss the High Mountain Youth Project, a Ruidoso nonprofit organization for vulnerable youth, the opening of their new location at 637 Sudderth Drive, and plans to add a 24-Hour Youth Crisis Shelter with overnight care in the Fall of 2022 for area homeless youth who need a place to stay. February 25, 2022: Executive Director Stepahine Hale of THRIVE in Southern New Mexico, and THRIVE board member Bruce Ashburn of PNM joined the show this week to discuss the Benefit Concert with Jeff Carson on March 5, 2022. Also discussed was the success THRIVE had in fundraising last year and who they were able to help with the donated funds.

January 31, 2022: This week, Richie Hood and Barry Chase from First National Bank of Ruidoso joined the show to discuss local financing options for new businesses. Also in the studio, Water Resource Manager Eric Boyda discussed the Village water rights and municipal investments in water systems and infrastructure. Rick Hutchinson of Angus Church and Marci Butchofsky with Hope Harbor Transitional Home shared information about the upcoming event, Afternoon of Hope, at the ENMU-Ruidoso campus. Additionally, Police Chief Lawrence Chavez was in with new Officer Jimmy Lopez for his official swearing-in by Mayor Crawford. Also discussed was Officer Lopez’s background including his dive experience with installing the Wibit Water Park at Grindstone Lake.

December 31, 2021: Mary Maxon, Michael and Delana Clements of the Old Dowlin Mill joined the show this week to discuss Old Mill repair progress including the just-completed roof and the need for additional funds, through donations, to complete the reconstruction project. Also discussed were New Year’s Eve and upcoming holiday events.

December 10, 2021: Victor Montes of Lincoln County Toys for Tots joins the show this week to discuss their program and when and where they will be sorting the donations to be delivered in addition to last weekend's Parade of Lights winners for Best Floats and Vehicles. Also discussed were upcoming village events including the community Coat Drive, the Flying J Ranch Christmas Program, and the upcoming Vines in the Pines event to be held on Feb. 19, 20, 2022 at the Ruidoso Convention Center.
