January 9, 2023: This week, Adam Sanchez, the public works director for the Village of Ruidoso, visited the show to inform us of plans to improve Sudderth and Upper Canyon. Village Clerk Jini Turri shed light on the council meetings and streaming options available. Tim Roberts reported on the Wingfield House Heritage Center and Convention Center. Fire Chief Joe Kasuboski and forest director Dick Cooke discussed fire prevention and forestry thinning projects, while Judi Starkovich, finance director, talked about Village budgeting and GRT. Chief Lawrence Chavez outlined holiday police activities and the upcoming Citizens Police Academy.

June 24, 2022: Peggy Wilson a Capitan Library volunteer joined the show this week to discuss the Art and Antique Collectible Marketplace show to be held on Saturday, July 2nd and the unique items that will be available including artwork by Peter Hurd and Ted Robertson. Also discussed was the annual Smokey Bear Independence Day Parade and July 1 - 4, 2022, Smokey Bear Stampede. The second half of the show highlighted upcoming Ruidoso events including the Chamber Annual Awards Banquet.

June 17, 2022: Logan Fleharty with Scorpion Tattoos joined the show to discuss Ruidoso Tattoo Expo taking place June 17 - 19, 2022, at the Ruidoso Convention Center featuring on-site tattooing, live music, a car show, Nerf gun wars, Suspension Artists, a CYR Wheel performance, and magician show. The second half of the show highlighted Brewdoso and the Party in the Pines concerts at Wingfield Park on June 18, and 19, in addition to other summer events.

May 19, 2022: Guest Logan Fleharty of Scorpion Tattoos and Ruidoso Tattoo Expo, joined the show this week to discuss the Tattoo Expo scheduled for June 17 - 19, 2022, at the Ruidoso Convention Center. He shared event details and special activities they will have at the expo including live tattooing, live music, a car show, Nerf gun wars, and more. There will be Suspension Artists, a CYR Wheel performance, and a magician at the event. Also discussed this week was the Memorial Day weekend opening of the Ruidoso Municipal Swimming Pool, Grindstone Lakes Wibit Water Park, Slip & Slide Kick Ball, and more.

April 11, 2022: Topics discussed this week included the 3rd Annual Bunny Run/Walk and Easter Egg Hunt at Cedar Creek Recreational Area, the return of the Wingfield Park Growers Market, and Mountain Coaster at Ruidoso Winter Park, plus music summer music events. Tim Roberts shared information about the May 5 and 6, 2022 Cinco De Mayo Celebration at the Ruidoso Convention Center. Ruidoso Fire Chief Cody Thetford joined the show to discuss his time with the Village and his plans for retirement. Adam Sanchez, Public Works Director, provided a status report of various public works repairs and Village officials shared information on the Moon Mountain, Wingfield Park, and White Mountain Master Plans. Ruidoso Police Chief Lawrence Chavis shared department plans for greater community engagement and a new consolidated dispatch center.

A Christmas Affair will have vendors with items for the Christmas season. Also discussed was the upcoming Turkey Trot, 5k run/walk on Saturday, Nov 27 as well as other upcoming events.

November 8, 2021: Topics discussed this week include the positive community response to the Ruidoso Insider newsletter, the Municipal League Board Meeting in Santa Fe, ongoing supply chain challenges and resulting effects. Also discussed were plans for an even bigger light display at Wingfield Park this year and approval for conditional use for the creation of Workforce Housing at the 1100 Mechem property. Introduced on the show is the new Convention Center/Radio Station/Wingfield House Manager, Tim Roberts, and Police Chief Chavez was in the studio to provide police activity updates and information about the next Citizen’s Police Academy.
