July 8, 2022: Joining the show this week was guest Robin DeMott, Chief External Affairs Officer at ENMU-Ruidoso – Robin was in to discuss the upcoming Kids College at ENMU-Ruidoso from July 18 - 29, 2022. The Kids College will offer cooking, arts, history, field trips, and more classes. Robin will be offering a Horse Camp teaching kids about horses and their care with hands-on experience.

July 1, 2022: Joining the show this week was guest Elizabeth Vargas, PIO US Small Business Administration to discuss the low-interest SBA federal disaster assistance loans are available to NM businesses and residents inc. home owners, renters & personal property as a result of the wildfires and straight-line winds. Melissa Haynes with Ruidoso Parks and Recreation and Tim Roberts with the Ruidoso Convention Center were also in the studio to discuss July 4th Weekend activities and entertainment.

June 24, 2022: Peggy Wilson a Capitan Library volunteer joined the show this week to discuss the Art and Antique Collectible Marketplace show to be held on Saturday, July 2nd and the unique items that will be available including artwork by Peter Hurd and Ted Robertson. Also discussed was the annual Smokey Bear Independence Day Parade and July 1 - 4, 2022, Smokey Bear Stampede. The second half of the show highlighted upcoming Ruidoso events including the Chamber Annual Awards Banquet.

June 17, 2022: Logan Fleharty with Scorpion Tattoos joined the show to discuss Ruidoso Tattoo Expo taking place June 17 - 19, 2022, at the Ruidoso Convention Center featuring on-site tattooing, live music, a car show, Nerf gun wars, Suspension Artists, a CYR Wheel performance, and magician show. The second half of the show highlighted Brewdoso and the Party in the Pines concerts at Wingfield Park on June 18, and 19, in addition to other summer events.

June 3, 2022: Becky Brooks and Laurie Benavides with High Mountain Youth Project joined the show to discuss the June 4, 2022, 4th Annual Great High Mountain Bed Race, an annual fundraiser to support evening study and drop-in programs. The second half of the show highlighted June events in Ruidoso.

April 29, 2022: Guest Lorna Fike, Executive Director of Hope Harbor Transitional Home joined the show this week to discuss the Afternoon of Hope fundraiser event at ENMU on April 30, 2022, from 2 pm to 4 pm. Also discussed is the way Hope Harbor will be able to help women with abused children to give them the help and tools they need for a new life.

April 22, 2022: Guest Shirley Donaldson, joins the Chamber Chat hosts to discuss her clogging classes offered at the Community Center including beginners and advanced classes. She explained what clogging is and what types of music you can clog to. March 25, 2022: Dakota Jackson and Harley Bautista of T-Mobile joined the show this week to discuss the new T Mobile store location in Boulder Plaza and all the services and devices offered including the new Green iPhones and pet and child trackers.

March 18, 2022: Kiya Boss of the Ruidoso Valley Greeters, a non-profit organization formed for promoting business development, joined the show this week to discuss the 2022 return of the annual Christmas Jubilee (Nov. 11 - 13, 2022) and the ways local merchants can participate. Also discussed is the history of the Greeters and how to get involved. 

March 11, 2022: Laurie Benavides and Becky Brooks joined the show this week to discuss the High Mountain Youth Project, a Ruidoso nonprofit organization for vulnerable youth, the opening of their new location at 637 Sudderth Drive, and plans to add a 24-Hour Youth Crisis Shelter with overnight care in the Fall of 2022 for area homeless youth who need a place to stay. March 4, 2022: Sam Freed, Director of Marketing for Noisy Water Winery joined the show this week to discuss the business’ new Midtown location as well as the March 4 Alex Reymundo - It’s the Tequila Talking Tour. comedy show at the winery’s Enchanted Vine event barn. Also discussed was the March 13 opening of the Enchanted Vine Farmers & Crafts Market hosted every Sunday starting at 10 am. Market until 2 pm with live music starting at Noon.

February 25, 2022: Executive Director Stepahine Hale of THRIVE in Southern New Mexico, and THRIVE board member Bruce Ashburn of PNM joined the show this week to discuss the Benefit Concert with Jeff Carson on March 5, 2022. Also discussed was the success THRIVE had in fundraising last year and who they were able to help with the donated funds.

February 18, 2022: Zia Natural Gas Business Development Manager, Oscar Saucedo, and Jacob Kinney, Pipeline Safety Manager join the show this week to discuss the importance of calling 811 before you dig so that you don’t accidentally hit any buried utility lines in your yard. Also discussed are some rebates that Zia Natural Gas offers for upgrading to more energy-efficient appliances.
