July 19, 2021: Topics discussed this week include flood damage assessments, planned improvements and uses for the Horton Complex, and a Rio Street realignment proposal by the Ruidoso Midtown Association. Also discussed was the struggle for finding a solution for Workforce Housing, water levels at Grindstone and Alto lakes and the possibility of underground storage. Ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects discussed include the White Mountain Sports Complex Masterplan and properties that the Village has purchased for the plan, a walking trail project from Cedar Creek to the Links, and the expansion of fiber and 5g internet service within the Village.
