March 27, 2023: Topics discussed this week included the 3rd annual Ruidoso Adventure Tours, a Wingfield House update and call for loaned and donated artifacts, and new permanent restrooms at Grindstone Lake. Also discussed were Wingfield Park outdoor concerts at the Ride Ruidoso Spring Thunder benefit event (May 20), Brewdoso/Party in the Pines (June 17-18), and summer entertainment at Ruidoso Downs Race Track. Fire Chief Joe Kasuboski discussed the Red Flag Fire Weather Warning conditions, firepit permits, and the Lincoln County, NM, Declaration of Fire Emergency currently in effect.
