September 9, 2024: In this episode, Mayor Crawford shared details about his recent trip to Albuquerque, where he served as the grand marshal for the New Mexico State Fair. Deputy Village Manager Michael Martinez joined the show to update residents in the floodplain on what to expect when rebuilding or repairing their properties. He also explained the Private Property Debris Removal process and how to sign up with the state for assistance. Additionally, he provided an update on the 603 Mechem Project, including the ongoing placement of homes and potential rental prices once the project is completed.

Eddie Ryan, Manager of Events & Strategic Partnerships, discussed the upcoming Motor Mountain Weekend on September 20-21, which is being hosted by several local businesses, including WPS, Quarters, Backcountry Attitudes, Downshift Brewing, Texas Club, and Casa Blanca. Francisco Sanchez from the NM Department of Transportation called in to provide a progress report on the stabilization of Ski Run Road, with a projected completion date of October 7th.

Deputy Police Chief Steve Minner talked about the busy weekend during the car show events in the Village and addressed concerns about people parking on the walking trail during school drop-off and pick-up times at White Mountain Elementary.
