July 14, 2023: This week, Kidie Thornton and PJ Schuster with the Humane Society of Lincoln County, NM, joined the show to discuss the July 27 Furr Ball 2023 annual fundraiser event and the need for pet adoptions to help ease overpopulation at the shelter.

June 12, 2023: Topics this week: The June 17-18 Party in the Pines and Brewdoso event at Wingfield Park and Tattoo Expo at the Ruidoso Convention Center, Village baseball and softball tournaments, the reopening of the renovated pickleball courts, and information about the NM Child Safety Seat Distribution Program. Project updates were provided for the Paradise Canyon Rd and Country Club road works projects. Kidie Thornton, Humane Society of Lincoln County, talked about their Resale Shop’s Annual Sale and involvement in several murals projects. Police Chief Lawrence Chavez provided a weekly police update and explained why the school zone lights are still active because of Summer School and other activities.​

March 20, 2023: Topics discussed this week included the Mechem Drive Housing Project, village budgeting and fuel cost projections, NM legislative bills, including the minimum wage increase, and McBride Fire recovery funds. Kidie Thornton with the Humane Society of Lincoln County joined the show to discuss their upcoming open house and pet food drive this weekend and a new animal transport van. Mary Leta with Life-Way of Lincoln County Pregnancy Center was also in the studio to promote their Handbags for Heartbeats silent auction on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Police Chief Lawrence Chavez discussed recent police activities, including a shooting threat at Ruidoso Middle School.

February 24, 2023: This week, PJ Schuster and Kidie Thornton from the Humane Society of Lincoln County joined the show to discuss the February 28 World Spay Day and the updated Village pet ordinance. Also discussed was the need for Humane Society volunteers and upcoming Village events.

November 5, 2021: Jazmine Estrada, Board President of the Humane Society of Lincoln County, joins the show this week to discuss the new Shelter and Thrift Shop, a new Challenge Grant from the Hubbard Foundation, and upcoming events hosted by the Humane Society.
