September 27, 2024: This week’s episode presents guests Billy Mack, Deborah, and Andrea. Billy Mack, owner of New Mexico Art Glass Center, was on to talk about his new Stained Glass class being offered through ENMU-Ruidoso. Deborah and Andrea also discussed the upcoming AspenFest parade.

September 9, 2024: In this episode, Mayor Crawford shared his experience as grand marshal of the NM State Fair, while Deputy Village Manager Michael Martinez updated residents on floodplain rebuilding, the debris removal program, and the 603 Mechem Project. Eddie Ryan promoted Motor Mountain Weekend, Francisco Sanchez gave a Ski Run Road update, and Deputy Police Chief Steve Minner discussed car show events and parking issues at White Mountain Elementary.

September 6, 2024: This week, guests from Oso Productions, Sydnee Mowrey and Shadow Gillmore. Sydnee and Shadow discussed the upcoming play, Eurydice, that will be put on September 13th-15th at Wingfield Park. They also discussed future projects that are being planned for Oso Productions.

August 26, 2024: In this episode, Matthew Baird, Parks & Rec Director and Eddie Ryan, Mgr. of Events & Strategic Partnerships were on the show to talk about the past weekend’s events at Wingfield Park that included free Bar-B-Que, music and drone show. Matthew also discussed the progress of the new playground at School House Park and the cleanup at Two Rivers Park.

Director of Finance, Judy Starkovich, and Water Production Manager, Christella Armijo were in the studio to discuss the increase in the water bills and help explain why the increase was implemented.

Stephanie Long the Wingfield House Museum Curator and Manager was in to announce an opening date and ribbon cutting ceremony for the museum on October 17th. Stephanie also discussed her weekly radio program, Ruidoso Rewind, which airs every Friday at noon on KRUI.

Michael Martinez, Deputy Village Manager, was on to discuss the progress and possible completion date of the upgrades at the Community Center. He also gave an update and progress report on the 603 Mechem housing project which now has 3 homes on the property.

Police Chief Lawrence Chavez talked about his involvement in taking the Legislative Finance Committee on a tour of the fire and flood damage around the Village to help give them a firsthand view of the devastation in the Village.

July 29, 2024: In this episode, Mayor Crawford, Village Manager Ron Sena, and Public Works Director Adam Sanchez discussed ongoing fire and flood recovery efforts, addressing questions about flood control, water outages, and debris removal. They emphasized the importance of residents completing the Right of Entry form online for state assistance with debris removal. Deputy Police Chief Minner and Lieutenant Urban introduced and swore in new officer John Lund. Eddie Ryan, Manager of Events & Strategic Partnerships, discussed the Under a Mountain Sky concert series, Xterra and Iron Man events scheduled for 2024 and 2025, and the Jets and Jalopies event in September. Police Chief Lawrence Chavez emphasized the importance of mental health during crises. Efforts continue to provide emergency access and long-term flood mitigation solutions.
